Pedagogical Leadership Coaching is designed to activate robust pedagogical thinking within your service.
Coaching is delivered via a series of curated online and in person coaching sessions and consultations.
This coaching also proposes that management engage in pedagogical conversations to further support workforce culture and collective critical dialogue.
THE OBJECTIVE
In order to cultivate and nurture collective critical thinking and professional learning across the organisation, educational leaders and staff will engage in coaching to enhance their ability to support complex pedagogical dialogue within their teaching teams.
This in turn builds confidence in teachers and educators to lead their practice through a highly developed critical lens.
By leading their learning communities in this way, staff showcase their service as a provider of quality early childhood education.
HOW ITÂ WORKS
STRATEGY & VISIONING
Focused strategy and visioning offers a starting point to ground ideas.
COACHING
Group coaching interrogates practice, promotes collective critical thinking and strengthens pedagogical leadership and support to kindergartens.
This coaching is also designed to link into and activate organisational strategic plan, core values (and philosophy).
PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
Bespoke professional learning sessions are offered to support pedagogy. Grounded in theory and practice, these sessions bring together strategy and vision and are tailored in conjunction with educational leaders and management (if required).
COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE
Online meet-ups to develop relationships with other learning teams who are also participating in these pedagogical leadership and coaching containers.
YOURÂ COMMITMENT
TO THE PROCESS
For an organisation to authentically engage in the processes offered, time investment is required. This work can be challenging, and this work is a slow pedagogical process.
This process asks the questions:
- What does commitment to pedagogical legacy look like within the structure of your learning environment?
- How might you authentically and systematically leverage this ongoing work as an opportunity to be seen as a âthought leader' in the early childhood profession?
